What this website is
This site shows the work of Montgomery Leather, a leather workshop in Pollock Pines, California. It is a portfolio and a way to get in touch. Nothing is sold on this website and no payment is taken here.
Buying
Purchases are made through the Etsy shop, and Etsy's own terms, pricing, shipping and returns policies govern any order placed there. Prices and availability shown on Etsy are the only ones that apply; this site deliberately quotes none, so that it can never contradict them.
Commissions
Custom work is agreed piece by piece, directly, before anything is cut. What is agreed in that conversation — the specification, the timescale and the price — is what applies to that commission.
Handmade goods
Everything shown here is made by hand from natural material. Leather varies in grain, tone and marking from hide to hide, and no two pieces come out identical. The photographs on this site are of real finished pieces, so they show what the work looks like rather than what every future piece will look like exactly.
Photographs and content
The photographs, the logo and the words on this site belong to Montgomery Leather. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking.
Accuracy
This site is kept as accurate as it can be, but it describes a small workshop where what is on the bench changes week to week. If something here matters to your decision, call or text and confirm it.
